How Technology is affecting us???

Technology is everywhere around us. It is involved in our daily lives wholly and solely; made our lives easier, comfortable and faster. Technology has changed everything and made us more advanced. From wearing clothes and eating food to the way of thinking, everything is dependent on technology. It wouldn’t be erroneous to say that technology is the present world.  An American director Godfrey Reggio said that “It’s not that we use technology, we live technology.”

Living in age of technology, we people are becoming more educated and the knowledge roots are advancing at a hotheaded rate. According to a study, at an average, the human knowledge is doubling every thirteen months at the current rate. All of us can clearly see the over-whelming effects of this knowledge all around us. Technology has blessed us with a better quality of life. Our dependence on technology has become unavoidable as all of us want clean and pure water to drink, hygienic food, a safeguard against deadly diseases, the innovative electrical and mechanical tools for business and the on edge facilities for home.

Another very important aspect of technology is that it has made us enable to manage the resources in a better way according to the increasing population. If we wouldn’t utilize the resources efficiently, there will be human race dying of hunger and syndromes. This is just the advancement and the technology that has brought us physical, medical and many other doles for our survival on earth.

Though there are countless advantages of technology but the picture has a dark side too. Technology has made our lives more weary and dependent on it to an extent that we can’t even imagine to live without it. Nonetheless, we are benefiting ourselves from technology but it has made us artificial and hollow inside. We are becoming anti-social just like the computers that have become constituent of our lives.

End of discussion is that technology is affecting us in both ways, good and the bad. It has facilitated us as well as made us lazy and fake. It has made us more advanced and educated but on the same time we have become unfriendly and reserved. We prefer sitting in room and playing games on computer or iPad instead of going out and meeting friends and playing football. But without technology, our lives would be harder, simpler, poorer and worse.
